University of New Hampshire NP Program
UNH nursing faculty have integrated Isabel into our NP program curriculum over the past few years. We use a case-based learning approach where our students apply their knowledge to real-world scenarios, promoting higher levels of learning. Students are introduced to Isabel in their health assessment course where they learn how and when to use Isabel.
Madonna University NP Program
Madonna University - located in Livonia, MI provides unique and innovative learning opportunities to accommodate the needs of students, including on-campus and virtually. Students are required to complete core classes addressing the theoretical and scientific foundation for advanced nursing practice, leadership, policy and advocacy, evidence-based practice, and change.
Lakewood Family Medicine – Holland, Michigan

The Chicago Medical School at RFUMS has been using the Isabel clinical reasoning tool as part of its medical curriculum since 2007. RFUMS chose the Isabel tool to help their students learn the clinical reasoning process, refine their diagnostic accuracy, and learn about the causes of diagnostic error, including premature closure – a common problem for new physicians.
MacNeal Hospital - Cook County, IL
MacNeal Hospital in Cook County, IL chose Isabel as a solution for their teaching hospital to provide the most innovative clinical reasoning resource to teach their new doctors. Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital
Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital (MFCH) at Westchester Medical Center is the advanced care pediatric hospital for New York’s Hudson Valley. Being a major teaching facility the pediatric residents are utilising Isabel in cases where patients are not responding to treatment and use Isabel during case presentation rounds to demonstrate their findings and how they refined their differentials.
